After studying at the Amsterdam University of the Arts, he worked primarily as as dancer between 2002 and 2012, including with the Dutch National Ballet and the Graz Opera. In 2008 he began his first works as a set and costume designer, and since 2013 he has been working internationally as a set and costume designer for theatre and dance.

Works have been created for Scottish Dance Theatre, Marc Brew, Perth Theatre, Solène Weinachter, Joan Clevillé Dance, Birmingham Royal Ballet 2, Staatstheater Mainz, Volkstheater Wien, Vorarlberger Landestheater, Stadttheater Ingolstadt, Schauspielhaus Graz, Stadttheater Bade-Baden, Theater Paderborn and Café Fuerte, amongst others.
